But now days, since the pressure of buying a house in big cities and other living cost, some young people can’t afford a wedding ceremony because of poor economical situation.
Different from those traditional concept, the young generation are more and more independent and have their own understanding toward marriage and love, they put more emphasize on the emotional aspect and want to marry with the one they loved, may be they are still not very rich, not rich enough to buy a house or a expensive wedding ring, but they still decide to marry each other without owning this material things, and this has been called naked marriage.
The whole society has proved its pluralism in this new phenomenon, to some social experts, they think it is a regression and also a progress. They said in the 1980s marriage also has three necessities: TV set, washer and refrigerator. Under this situation, the young generation chooses the naked marriage, it has significantly challenged the tradition and broke the custom.
As to some net citizens, 57.7% people think naked marriage is acceptable as love should be put into first place, house and car can buy in the future as long as the two can head for them together. On the contrary, 35.7% netizens appose naked marriage since they think material is the base of marriage. And the other percent of people don’t show their opinion about this issue. But according to the rate, we can still conclude that most people can accept naked marriage and they think love is more important than material.
Although now days the material girls and rich second generation have always caught our eyes on the news paper headlines, we should still have our own opinion and instrumental values to our own marriage and love. I do believe that the foundation of a happy marriage is love and mutual understanding.
It is beyond reproach that every one want to live a rich life and no one want to be worried about money, but to both the two sides of a marriage, they should know marriage is not a tool for you to get rich or noble, marriage is a relationship which will bring you happiness, respect and security.
As to me, I don’t mind whether I will wear a princess wedding dress or a simple wedding dress to embrace my special day, I just want to listen to my own heart and being a content bride no matter it is luxurious or simple.
